To scale up poll process, National president of Bharatiya Janata Party Amit Shah will come to Jaipur on July 21 for a day’s visit. Shah will join the state working committee meeting and take three organisational meetings, and will address party workers. He will also attend wedding function of union rural development and panchayati raj minister Narendra Pal Tomar’s son.
According to sources, during his visit Shah will announce the party’s strategy for the upcoming assembly elections and will hold a meeting of the state executive at the BJP state headquarters. He is also scheduled to hold a meeting with the legislators, MPs and ministers. In another meeting, Shah will address the heads of various morchas, prakalps, vibhags and cells of the BJP. A meeting was held on Friday regarding preparations of the visit.
Meanwhile, BJP state president Madan Lal Saini celebrated his birthday as a low-key affair on Friday. To congratulate him, the party office-bearers and workers gathered at BJP office.
